Evening of Bluegrass!

All of Piedmont Heights and friends are invited to an Evening of Bluegrass Gospel: On BG Gospel poster2 letter 030917.pdfthe evening of Saturday April 1s starting at 7:30pm three different bluegrass bands will perform a variety of traditional and original bluegrass gospel favorites. This community musical event is offered free of charge and is open to everyone.

The renowned Sonny Houston Band, Garden Fresh Pickers and Hicks with Picks will take the stage Saturday April 1st at 7:30pm in the sanctuary of Rock Spring church. Each band brings their unique take on the genre with exceptional instrumental soloists and haunting bluegrass harmonies. The concert features a subset of bluegrass music, Bluegrass Gospel, which expresses the spiritual yearnings and aspirations of this uniquely American music.
